Job summary

Land Transport Authority seeks a meticulous finance professional to support revenue and financial operations. You will perform daily bank reconciliations, apply customer receipts to invoices, monitor Workday Finance interfaces, and process refunds for course participants.

You will assist month-end close and prepare journal entries, maintaining auditable documentation. The role requires accounting studies, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ownership of issues through resolution.

Qualifications

• Areas of study in Accounting or other relevant professional qualifications.
• Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Independent and able to own issues through to resolution.
• Experience in finance or accounting operations.
• ERP/financial systems experience, especially Workday Financial Management or Treasury Management Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.
• Identify and apply customer receipts to open invoices.
• Monitor TMS-Workday interface and resolve transaction/interface exceptions.
• Process course participant refunds accurately and promptly.
• Support Workday/FMS month-end closing and ensure revenue and costs are recorded correctly.
• Prepare journal entries for corrections and reclassifications.
• Maintain supporting documentation and audit trails.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and system vendors to resolve issues.
• Proactively follow up and escalate outstanding issues for timely resolution.
