Job summary

NESST Singapore Limited is seeking a Finance Operations Leader to oversee AP/AR, procurement, and financial reporting across dormitory operations. You will manage a team, ensure policy compliance, and deliver accurate dashboards for leadership.

You will collaborate with Dormitory Operations, Procurement, Finance, and external stakeholders to drive efficiency, automation, and strong financial controls in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Finance Operations, AP/AR, Procurement, or Shared Services; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, AP/AR, procurement practices, and compliance requirements.
• Experience in budgeting, reporting, financial analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Meticulous, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership capability with experience managing teams and driving service excellence.
• Prior experience in facilities management, accommodation, dormitory operations, hospitality, or high-volume service environments would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end AP and AR functions with timely, accurate processing.
• Manage finance transactions across multiple dormitory operations ensuring data integrity.
• Monitor cash flow, ageing reports, and vendor payments to improve collection accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, governance, and regulatory obligations.
• Provide timely resolution of AP/AR queries from vendors, customers, and stakeholders.
• Lead procurement administration: requisitions, POs, supplier onboarding, and invoicing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure procurement policies and governance compliance.
• Monitor procurement activity and vendor performance to mitigate risks.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, KPIs, and ageing analyses for leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and better controls.
