Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an experienced finance professional to manage end-to-end accounting processes across AR, AP, P2P, GL, GST and reporting. You will oversee month-end close, ensure accurate ERP entries, and maintain asset registers and reconciliations.

The role requires strong attention to detail, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and participation in audits and governance processes to support timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for assigned finance modules and cost centres, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all transactions and reporting outputs.
• Manage and execute activities across relevant finance functions, including but not limited to Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Procure-to-Pay(P2P), review and validate AP payment cycle, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets(FA), General Ledger (GL), GST, and financial reporting.
• To ensure all transactional entries are accurate and properly recorded within the ERP system.
• Lead and deliver month-end and year-end close processes for all modules, ensuring deadlines are met with high data integrity and alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
• Check validity of all transactions on monthly and annual management reports,audit schedules, and reconciliations (e.g., General Ledger, Trial Balance,Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Governmental Surveys)
• Maintain supporting schedules such as fixed assets registers and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST submissions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accuracy at entity and submission to Head Office.
• Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and maintain proper financial records in compliance with statutory and corporate requirements.
• Ensure all transactions are appropriately approved, documented, and reflected accurately in the ERP system.
• Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies with internal stakeholders, business units, and external partners (including ERP vendors), particularly those impacting financial reporting and close timelines.
• Support internal and external audit processes, including preparation of required documentation and participation in asset verification and inventory count exercises when assigned.
• Accounts Payable (including review of payment batches) / Accounts Receivable(including POS reconciliation across business units) module assigned and monthend/ year end closing matters.
