Job summary

CORESTAFF PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance team and oversee all financial operations in Singapore.

The role focuses on accounting operations, financial reporting and strategic budgeting, with strong emphasis on internal controls and regulatory compliance. The candidate should have a Chartered Accountant designation (ISCA), 7+ years in finance and prior managerial experience to drive efficiency, governance, and business transformation across the finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent professional qualification.
• Chartered Accountant with ISCA membership is required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting and audit, including at least 3 years in external audit and 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS, GST, corporate tax and statutory compliance.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial analysis.
• Experience managing a finance team and engaging with senior Management and external stakeholders.

Our client is an established company in the logistics and supply chain industry, providing integrated logistics solutions to a diverse range of customers. They are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead their finance team and oversee the company's financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Finance Department, overseeing daily accounting operations, financial reporting and team development.
• Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, fixed assets and cash management.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, annual budgets, financial forecasts and financial performance reports for Management.
• Analyse financial results, profitability, cash flow and operating expenses, recommending improvements to enhance business performance and cost efficiency.
• Manage working capital, treasury activities, banking facilities and financing arrangements.
• Establish and strengthen internal controls, financial policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, corporate tax and other relevant statutory requirements.
• Coordinate annual statutory audits, tax submissions and regulatory filings with external auditors, tax consultants and relevant authorities.
• Maintain effective relationships with banks, auditors, business partners and internal stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements, finance digitalisation and other business transformation initiatives.
• Support Management on financial strategies, business projects and other ad hoc assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Chartered Accountant qualification with membership in the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) is required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting and audit, including at least 3 years in external audit and 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, corporate tax and statutory compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial analysis.
• Experience managing a finance team and engaging with senior Management and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting systems or ERP software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Jet Reports will be an advantage.
