Job summary

tstar recruit pte. ltd. represents an established MNC hiring a Finance Manager in Singapore to lead a high-performing finance team and oversee end-to-end accounting functions.

The role requires CA with ISCA, 7+ years in finance and audit, strong SFRS knowledge, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, and robust analytical skills. You will drive process improvements, governance, and strategic financial partnering with Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy/finance or equivalent.
• Chartered Accountant (ISCA) qualification required.
• 7+ years in accounting/finance/audit; 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS, Companies Act, tax and governance.
• Hands-on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow analysis.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 BC and Jet Reports an advantage.
• Leadership, stakeholder management and commercial mindset.
• Strong communication, integrity and ability to coach teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop the Finance team to drive high performance.
• Oversee AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, cash management, reporting.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, monthly reports and management accounts.
• Analyse financial performance, cash flow, profitability, and KPIs.
• Provide strategic recommendations for cost optimisation and growth.
• Strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures; drive digitalisation.
• Manage treasury: cash flow planning, banking, financing, working capital.
• Ensure compliance with SFRS, tax, regulatory filings, governance.
• Coordinate audits, tax matters, and regulatory reporting; liaise with stakeholders.

Job description

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Finance Manager:

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and develop the Finance team to drive high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Financial Reporting.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, monthly financial reporting, and management accounts to support effective business planning and decision-making.
• Analyse financial performance, cash flow, profitability, and key financial indicators, and provide strategic recommendations to Management on cost optimisation and business growth.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and accounting procedures while driving process improvements and finance digitalisation initiatives.
• Manage treasury functions, including cash flow planning, banking facilities, financing arrangements, and working capital management.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), statutory regulations, tax requirements, corporate governance, and applicable ISO standards.
• Coordinate annual audits, tax matters, statutory reporting, and regulatory filings to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, government agencies, suppliers, customers, and other relevant stakeholders on finance-related matters.
• Support strategic business transformation, financing projects, and other initiatives undertaken by Management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Chartered Accountant qualification and membership with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) is required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, and audit, including at least 3 years of audit experience and 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST regulations, corporate governance, and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Hands-on experience in budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting systems and ERP software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Jet Reports will be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to coach and develop a high-performing Finance team.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a strong commercial and business partnering mindset.
• Sound decision-making skills with the ability to provide strategic financial recommendations to Management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Able to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 7,000 +VB (2 Months)
• Working Location: Tuas Crescent
• Working Hours: 5 Days Work, Mon-Fri: 8:30am-5:30pm
