Job summary

HOCK LIAN SENG INFRASTRUCTURE PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned finance leader to oversee all finance and accounting functions, including consolidation, compliance, and governance.

You will manage cash flow, audits, and tax, while mentoring a small finance team and supporting the CFO on group reporting and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent
• CA (ISCA) membership is required or preferred
• Proficient with Business Central is a plus

• Prepare consolidated financial statements per SFRS/IFRS
• Ensure internal controls and governance compliance
• Manage cash flow, audits, tax, and stakeholder engagements

• Implement and improve internal controls and financial processes
• Lead a small finance team and manage day-to-day operations
• Assist CFO with group reporting and ad-hoc assignments

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, budgeting, forecasting, tax and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with SFRS/IFRS.
• Ensure strong internal controls, compliance with SFRS and statutory requirements, and effective corporate governance.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, external/internal audit, tax, and stakeholder engagements.
• Track project revenue, costs, margins and profitability. Work with Project/QS teams on progress claims, subcontractor claims, retention and collections.
• Implement and improve internal controls and financial processes
• Lead and mentor a small finance team, overseeing day-to-day finance operations
• Support the Chief Financial Officer on group reporting, strategic initiatives and other ad-hoc assignments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Chartered Accountant qualification with ISCA membership.
• Knowledge of “Business Central” accounting software is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of finance/accounting experience, including audit and managerial experience.
• Good knowledge of SFRS, Singapore statutory requirements, taxation, and corporate governance.
