Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions: AR and AP.
• Process supplier invoices, payments, staff claims, and expenses.
• Perform bank reconciliation and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare AR/AP ageing reports for management.
• Execute month-end closing accurately and timely.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial summaries.
• Maintain accounting records in Xero.
• Assist with GST reporting, audits, and other statutory matters.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, suppliers on finance matters.
• Perform other accounting and admin duties as assigned.

Position Overview:

As a Finance Executive, you will be responsible for managing and executing key financial processes such as invoicing, reconciliation, audit support, and other general accounting tasks. This role supports the finance team in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial transactions and plays a critical part in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Process supplier invoices, payments, staff claims and other business expenses.
• Perform bank reconciliation and investigate any discrepancies.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and prepare AR/AP ageing reports for management review.
• Perform month-end closing process, ensuring transactions are accurately and timely recorded.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial summaries for internal management use.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation in Xero.
• Assist with GST reporting, audit preparation and other statutory or accounting matters as required.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, suppliers and other external parties on finance-related matters when necessary.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in full sets of accounting, with a preference for those who've navigated the automotive sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in financial software systems, preferably CRM and ERP.
• Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word etc.)
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with different departments.
