Job summary

BMW Group Asia is seeking a proactive finance professional to join our regional team in Singapore. You will manage end-to-end finance operations including AP, AR, billing, GL and fixed assets, ensuring accurate financial reporting and cash flow optimization.

You will process intercompany transactions, perform month-end activities, and support GST compliance, audits and internal controls. Strong Excel and ERP experience, including SAP, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• Knowledge of GST requirements and Singapore accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end finance operations including AP, AR, Billing, GL and Fixed Assets.
• Prepare and process vehicle, corporate, intercompany, and service fee billings for revenue recognition and compliance.
• Process receipts, monitor customer accounts, reconcile balances and support collections to optimize cash flow.
• Execute duty postings for vehicle and parts business and maintain asset schedules for accuracy.
• Process staff claims in line with company policies and maintain controls.
• Maintain fixed asset records, perform month-end postings and support asset verification.
• Prepare monthly journal entries including prepayments and accruals and perform intercompany reconciliations.
• Support GST reporting, audit requirements, internal controls and regulatory compliance.

Job Summary

Support comprehensive finance operations at BMW Group Asia, managing billing, accounts receivable, fixed assets, reconciliations, and compliance to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end finance operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets to support accurate financial management
• Prepare and process vehicle, corporate, intercompany, and service fee billings ensuring precise revenue recognition and compliance
• Process incoming receipts, monitor customer accounts, reconcile balances, manage accounts receivable ageing, and support collection follow-ups to optimize cash flow
• Execute duty postings for vehicle and parts business and maintain inventory schedules and reconciliations to ensure accurate asset tracking
• Process staff claims adhering to company policies and procedures to maintain compliance and control
• Maintain fixed asset records, perform month-end postings, and support annual fixed asset verification to ensure asset accuracy
• Perform intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations and prepare monthly journal entries including prepayments and accruals to maintain accurate financial statements
• Support GST reporting, audit requirements, internal controls, and financial compliance activities to uphold regulatory standards
• Assist in daily finance operations and undertake ad-hoc accounting projects to support business needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline
• Knowledge of GST requirements and Singapore accounting practices

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 2-5 years of accounting or finance experience
• Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and month-end closing activities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, with SAP experience preferred
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills applied to financial data and processes
• Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail and resourcefulness
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills to collaborate effectively within teams
• Proactive, collaborative team player attitude
