Volt Auto Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Finance Executive to manage invoicing, reconciliation, audit support and month-end closing activities. You will collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely financial reporting.

Key duties include AR/AP processing, bank reconciliation, GST support, and preparation of management reports, with a focus on maintaining robust accounting records in Xero and supporting internal controls in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in full sets of accounting, with a preference for those who've navigated the automotive sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in financial software systems, preferably CRM and ERP.
• Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word etc.)
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with different departments.
• Enjoy working with people and thrive in team environment in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Process supplier invoices, payments, staff claims and other business expenses.
• Perform bank reconciliation and investigate any discrepancies.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and prepare AR/AP ageing reports for management review.
• Perform month-end closing process, ensuring transactions are accurately and timely recorded.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial summaries for internal management use.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation in Xero.
• Assist with GST reporting, audit preparation and other statutory or accounting matters as required.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, suppliers and other external parties on finance-related matters when necessary.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
