Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning and maintenance of SMT/semiconductor equipment. The role involves preparing service reports and technical documents, and supporting the sales team when needed.

The ideal candidate has an engineering diploma/degree and 2–3 years of related field experience, with willingness to travel overseas and work on standby rotations. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or Mechanical.
• 2–3 years of relevant field experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred.
• Willing to travel overseas occasionally.
• Field Service experience with SMT/semiconductor equipment preferred.
• Able to interpret electrical circuit diagrams.
• Willing to work standby on rotating shifts.
• Hands-on with SMT/clean-room machinery.
• Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer site for installation, commissioning, calibration, preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Create quotes for Spare Parts/Service and coordinate order entry and delivery.
• Submit warranty claims to headquarters and prepare service reports.
• Submit technical documents (installation/calibration/PM reports) to customers.
• Support Sales team on related activities when required.
• Report timely to Service Manager on all service activities.
• Work independently and build rapport with customers.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to customer site to perform installation, commissioning, field retrofit, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repairs of company products.
• Creating quotes (Spare Parts/Service) and follow up with order entry and delivery.
• Submit warranty claims to headquarters.
• Prepare and submit service report to customer on-site. Prepare and submit technical documents such as commissioning/Installation reports, calibration reports, preventive maintenance reports to customers.
• Able to work with Sales team to support for some sales activities when required.
• Timely report to Service Manager on all service activities situation and updates.
• This is a role that requires candidate to be self-orientated and independent.
• Able to handle customer questions relating to technical and service problems with tactful manner and courtesy. And thus, built good rapport with customers.

Qualification & Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2- 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is preferred
• Experienced in Microsoft Office, CRM system is preferred
• Able to travel Overseas and on short notice occasionally.
• Preferably specialized in Field Service for SMT and Semiconductor Equipment/Machinery.
• Able to interpret electrical circuit diagram.
• Willing to work on standby mode by rotations.
• Able to work hands-on and familiar to work in machinery SMT/clean-room environment.
• Training will be provided.
