Job summary

OMS Singapore is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot customer equipment at client sites across Asia, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a NITEC/ Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, 2+ years in field service, is computer literate, and fluent in English.

Travel overseas on short notice is required; owning a vehicle is preferred.

Qualifications

• NITEC or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on field service or technical support experience.
• Fluent in English and computer literate.

About the role

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer / Technician to join our dynamic team. You'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment at client sites, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

• Install, inspect, and repair mechanical and electrical systems

• Perform routine maintenance and emergency service calls

• Diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions

• Document service reports and maintain accurate records

• Communicate with clients to explain repairs and preventive measures

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve service delivery

About you

• NITEC / Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in field service or technical support

• Computer literate

• Experience with PLC systems preferrable

• Possess own vehicle preferred

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Fluency in English

• Able to travel for oversea job in short notice
