Job summary
OMS Singapore is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot customer equipment at client sites across Asia, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a NITEC/ Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, 2+ years in field service, is computer literate, and fluent in English.
Travel overseas on short notice is required; owning a vehicle is preferred.
Qualifications
- NITEC or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on field service or technical support experience.
- Fluent in English and computer literate.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and repair mechanical and electrical systems
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency service calls
- Diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions
- Document service reports and maintain accurate records
- Communicate with clients to explain repairs and preventive measures
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve service delivery
