• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; work independently when needed.

• Valid Class 3 driving license; willingness to work outside normal hours.
• Proactive, safety-conscious approach with ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

• Participates in site survey and site implementation for valve actuation initiatives.
• Troubleshoots valve, actuators and control instruments issues at site for customers.
• Schedules and prepares execution plans for service jobs with the operations team.
• Performs repair work in-house and at customer sites when required.
• Generates customer reports on root cause analysis with other groups.
• Collaborates with other units to address customer challenges and propose solutions.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team at Company. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and maintenance services to our clients across the Singapore. As a key member of our field engineering team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our clients' critical systems and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Participates in site survey and site implementation for all valve actuation related initiatives


• Troubleshoots valve or actuators and control instruments issues at site for customers


• Works with operation team to schedule and prepare execution plan for service jobs


• Conducts repair work both in-house and at customers' site when required


• Works with other teams within the Group to generates report for customers on root cause analysis


• Works with the other business unit on customer's challenges and derive solutions to solve other issues that they are facing

About you

• A technical NITEC, diploma or degree in a relevant engineering discipline or minimum 2 years of experience as a technician or Field Service Engineer in the industrial or commercial sector


• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and work independently


• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients


• A valid Class 3 driving license and flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as required


• A proactive, safety-conscious approach and a commitment to continuous learning and development
