Job summary

Prestige Technology (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair equipment, working closely with customers to ensure peak performance and excellent service.

The role involves site visits, troubleshooting, inspections, and documenting work. You will need Nitec/Higher Nitec in M&E Engineering or equivalent, some M&E experience, be self-motivated, technically capable with basic computer skills, and hold a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec/Higher Nitec in M&E Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in M&E field is an added advantage.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and identify root causes.
• Maintain, repair or replace damaged parts as needed.
• Conduct equipment inspections and assessments.
• Collaborate with team to diagnose complex issues and find solutions.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Provide excellent customer service and build client relationships.
• Test and commission mechanical components and devices.
• Maintain and modify equipment for safety and reliability.
• Ensure documentation and data are well recorded in the system.
• Manage spare parts inventory to ensure sufficient stock.
• Position involves onsite servicing as required.
• Follow up shipment status with HQ as required.

• To manage spare parts inventory to ensure sufficient stocks on hand and smooth operations
• Position involves onsite servicing as required
• Follow up status of shipment with HQ as and when required

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Minimum Nitec/Higher Nitec in M&E Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in M&E field of work will be an added advantage
• Self-motivated and has the ability to work independently
• Basic computer knowledge and good communicative skills
• Valid Singapore class 3 Driving License
