Job summary

ETHOS SEARCH ASSOCIATES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking Field Service Engineers with PCB and software experience to support installation, maintenance, and service of client equipment.

The role involves hands-on field work, adherence to safety, and timely reporting of service activities. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in engineering, at least 2 years of relevant experience or a strong PCB/software background, and the ability to work independently, including in cleanroom

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant field service experience or strong PCB/software background.
• Experience with PCB troubleshooting and software-based systems is advantageous.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, modification, repair, and preventive maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Provide on-site customer support and ensure high levels of service satisfaction.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with site safety requirements.
• Obtain required equipment service and operational certifications as assigned.
• Prepare and submit service and status reports for all support activities as required.
• Document service activities and maintenance records accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support changing operational priorities and perform assigned administrative tasks.
• Work in cleanroom environments while wearing full PPE as required.

JobSummary:

We are seeking motivated individuals to join as Field Service Engineers with PCB and software experience. This role involves providing customer support, installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of client's equipment and systems. You will work under close supervision while ensuring high-quality service delivery in accordance with company and customer standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, modification, repair, and preventive maintenance of equipment and systems
• Provide on-site customer support and ensure high levels of service satisfaction
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with site safety requirements
• Obtain required equipment service and operational certifications as assigned
• Prepare and submit service and status reports for all support activities as required
• Document service activities and maintenance records accurately and in a timely manner
• Support changing operational priorities and perform assigned administrative tasks
• Work in cleanroom environments while wearing full PPE as required

WorkAssignments:

• Assigned to specific site, region, or product based on business needs
• Work schedule may include shifts, weekends, night shifts, or compressed work weeks
• On-call and domestic/international travel may be required (up to 95% depending on assignment)

JobRequirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates with strong PCB/software background are welcome to apply)
• Experience or exposure in PCB troubleshooting and software-based systems is an advantage
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently in a field service environment
• Physically fit (able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders)
• Willingness to work in cleanroom environments with full PPE
• Proficient in PC usage and Windows-based applications
