Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Field Process Engineer to support customer installations and upgrades at client sites. You will partner with account teams to understand roadmaps, perform DOE evaluations, and ensure successful integration of Lam systems within wafer fabrication processes.

The role involves on-site support, capacity startup, and collaboration with product groups to drive improvements. A science degree with hands-on customer-facing experience and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Masters in Chemistry, Physics, Material Science or related field; or Bachelors with 3+ years experience.
• Graduate eligible role.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to engage customers on technical solutions.
• Able to work in Fab environment and perform standby duties.

Responsibilities

• Work with Account team and customers to understand technology roadmaps and requirements.
• Execute penetration and defense strategy with Global Product Group.
• Startup capacity add systems and match results to existing configurations.
• Design and run DOE evaluations for new installations or field mods.
• Conduct experiments, collect data, and generate reports for distribution.
• Develop new processes for customer applications and improvements.
