Job summary

Corning Singapore is seeking a technically skilled professional to join our Optical Communications team. The role focuses on customer-facing technical engagements across the product lifecycle, helping design-in, deploy, and adopt PCS solutions.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing, perform on-site investigations, provide training, and support field deployments and product evaluations while traveling up to 50% across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Science; 3+ years in optical fibers/connectivity.
• Frequent customer interactions at a technical level; ability to convey value.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support customer co-design activities, field trials and product evaluations.
• Perform on-site investigations of technical and product issues.
• Provide training and field support to ensure successful adoption.
• Travel to customer sites and manufacturing facilities as needed.
