Job summary
AXIS-TEC PTE. LTD. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to meet daily service, maintenance, and repair needs of customer equipment at sites across the region.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in a technical discipline, has hands-on semiconductor/photonic equipment experience, and is willing to travel regionally and internationally for installation,
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment or photonics systems.
- Understanding of photonics and optical principles.
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally for service activities.
Responsibilities
- Install, set up, test, qualify, and commission semiconductor photonics and precision equipment at customer sites.
- Perform SAT, system verification, calibration, and performance validation.
- Calibrate and measure using precision instruments.
- Root-cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Support customers to resolve yield, quality, and uptime issues.
- Collaborate with customer engineers to meet technical requirements.
- Provide training on operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and photonics basics.
- Prepare service reports and technical documentation accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with laser, electrical safety, cleanroom, EHS, and procedures.
- Perform other field-service duties as assigned.
