Job summary

Kim Yew Integrated Pte Ltd in Singapore is looking for a Facilities Supervisor / M&E Maintenance Technical Officer to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance and to manage a team of technicians for smooth operations at a prestigious educational institution.

You will supervise electrical/ACMV systems, BMS, chillers, FCU/AHU, attend defects promptly, and ensure timely maintenance. Diploma in relevant field and 3+ years Singapore experience required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
• Minimum 3 years in Singapore in Facilities Maintenance.
• Good knowledge of building maintenance and M&E systems (Electrical/ACMV).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate facilities maintenance activities for preventive and corrective works.
• Manage technicians and officers, liaise with sub-contractors and vendors.
• Coordinate, install, inspect, repair and maintain electrical and mechanical systems including BMS, ACMV.
• Attend to defects promptly and respond to urgent breakdowns.
• Ensure maintenance works are completed timely and efficiently.

About the role

This is a full-time Facilities Supervisor / M&E Maintenance Technical Officer role based in Singapore for a leading facilities management company. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the building facilities and infrastructure.

Job Descriptions

• To supervise and coordinate facilities maintenance activities for preventive and corrective maintenance works. To manage the team of technicians and technical officers for smooth work operations in facilities maintenance (M&E and some Building Maintenance). Work in a team with Managers and Engineers for a prestige local Educational Institution.

• Liaise, supervise and coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors on projects, maintenance, repair, shut down and overhaul works.

• Coordinates, installs, inspects, repairs and maintains the electrical and mechanical and other related systems.

• Carry out maintenance, repairing and servicing tasks on Electrical/ ACMV system including BMS, chilled water system, FCU, AHU and mechanical ventilation system.

• Attend to defects and requests promptly and carry out urgent breakdowns.

• Ensure maintenance or repair works are carried out timely and effectively.

• To conduct regular inspections of the building premises, systems and any equipment. Assist in preparing and submission of costing and quotations if required.

• To attend and respond to users’ requests and feedback on any fault issues and following up with resolution with the team.

• Perform routine inspection on electrical facilities and services. Attending to work orders maintenance of the properties and maintain proper maintenance checklist.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or Building Services and above.

• Minimum 3 years of Singapore relevant working experience in the Facilities Maintenance industry.

• Good technical knowledge in building maintenance, M&E systems ( Electrical / ACMV).

• Good team player and effective communication skills.

• Proficient Microsoft Office Application.

5.5 work Days Week
