Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to support the HOD in daily operations, maintenance, safety and compliance across our retail facilities. You will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lifts and fire protection, ensuring a safe, well-maintained workplace.
Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance, site inspections, maintaining records, and liaising with contractors and service providers to meet service standards.

As an Assistant Facilities Manager, you will support the HOD in overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, safety, and compliance of the company’s facilities to ensure a safe and well-maintained working environment.
Support the maintenance of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lifts/escalators, fire protection, and backup power systems.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance works to minimize operational downtime.
Conduct regular site inspections and follow up on maintenance defects and rectification works.
Maintain facility asset records, maintenance schedules, and equipment documentation.
Coordinate cleaning, housekeeping, waste management, pest control, and other facility services.
Support security operations including CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and security service providers.
Liaise with contractors, vendors, landlords, and service providers on maintenance and facility-related matters.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure works are completed according to agreed service standards.
Assist with renovation, refurbishment, fit-out, and upgrading projects.
Monitor project schedules, costs, work progress, and quality.
Support compliance with workplace safety, fire safety, building regulations, and statutory requirements.
Assist with safety inspections, risk assessments, emergency response procedures, and business continuity planning.
Support the preparation and monitoring of OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
Track maintenance costs and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Support sustainability and energy-saving initiatives across facilities.
Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Facilities Management, Property Management, or Building Operations.
Good knowledge of building maintenance, M&E systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Familiarity with BMS and/or CMMS will be an advantage.
Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, and service providers.
Good project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of workplace safety, fire safety, and statutory compliance requirements.
Able to work independently and support multiple facility-related matters in a fast-paced environment.
