Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead day-to-day operations, maintenance, and admin of facility assets. You will oversee safety, efficiency, budget management, and contract oversight while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure a safe and productive environment for occupants.

Ideal candidates have a degree in facilities management or related field, 3+ years in commercial/industrial real estate, and preferred certifications (CFM/IFMA/BOMA).

Qualifications

• Degree in facilities management, building, or related field.
• 3+ years’ relevant experience in commercial/industrial real estate with facility management experience.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• CFM/IFMA/BOMA certifications recommended; other engineering/business training a plus.
• Ability to read construction specifications and blueprints.
• Proficient in understanding management agreements and contract language.
• Skilled in Building Management Systems maintenance and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, janitorial, life-safety, engineering, site services, and maintenance consistent with C&W policies.
• Review and bid contracts; ensure invoicing matches pricing.
• Supervise maintenance programs for interior/exterior conditions and appearance.
• Prepare budgets, financial reports, contracts, expenditures and POs.
• Contribute to five-year maintenance and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Inspect facility and report findings; hire and train staff; conduct evaluations.
