Job summary

DHL Group in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day maintenance and operations of M&E and building systems within our facilities. You will lead space planning, manage contractors, review budgets and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Reporting to the Facilities Team, you will coordinate projects, drive energy efficiency initiatives and deliver reliable support to operations, landlords, and stakeholders while guiding the Facilities Team to achieve service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of facilities management experience, preferably in warehousing or real estate.
• Experience in facility maintenance, contractor management, project coordination and space planning.
• Knowledge of air-conditioning, M&E and building systems is advantageous.
• Supervisory and teamwork skills; budget awareness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and operation of M&E, air-conditioning and facility systems.
• Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance; ensure statutory compliance.
• Coordinate facility improvement, refurbishment and space planning projects.
• Manage contractors, service providers; monitor SLAs and KPIs.
• Prepare reports on budgets, energy use, compliance, and projects.
• Support cost-saving, energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate emergencies with Operations, landlords and stakeholders.
• Supervise the Facilities Team and provide guidance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and operation of M&E, air-conditioning and facility systems.
• Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections and statutory requirements.
• Conduct facility inspections and coordinate timely rectification of defects and equipment issues.
• Coordinate facility improvement, refurbishment, space planning and equipment replacement projects.
• Manage contractors and service providers, monitoring performance against agreed SLAs, KPIs, safety and service standards.
• Administer service contracts and review invoices, work orders and service reports for accuracy and budget compliance.
• Maintain accurate facility records, asset registers, maintenance documentation, licences and certifications.
• Prepare regular reports on facility operations, vendor performance, budgets, energy consumption, compliance and projects.
• Support cost-saving, energy efficiency, sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate facility emergencies and work closely with Operations, landlords, contractors and internal stakeholders to minimise business disruption.
• Supervise and provide day-to-day guidance to the Facilities Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant facilities management experience, preferably in a warehouse, business office or real estate environment.
• Experience in facility maintenance, contractor management, project coordination and space planning.
• Knowledge of air-conditioning, M&E and building systems is advantageous.
• Good understanding of facility contracts, budgets and cost control.
• Good IT literacy, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, service-oriented and able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good supervisory and teamwork skills.
