Job summary

DHL Supply Chain Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a senior facilities professional to oversee day-to-day M&E and building systems, lead space planning, and coordinate contractor activities in a dynamic warehousing and office environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering/architecture or related technical field and at least five years’ facilities management experience, with strong project coordination, budgeting and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant facilities management experience.
• Experience in facility maintenance, contractor management, project coordination and space planning.
• Knowledge of air-conditioning, M&E and building systems is advantageous.
• Good understanding of facility contracts, budgets and cost control.
• Good IT literacy, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, service-oriented and able to work effectively with stakeholders.
• Good supervisory and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and operation of M&E, air-conditioning and facility systems.
• Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections and statutory requirements.
• Conduct facility inspections and coordinate timely rectification of defects and equipment issues.
• Coordinate facility improvement, refurbishment, space planning and equipment replacement projects.
• Manage contractors and service providers, monitoring performance against SLAs, KPIs, safety and service standards.
• Administer service contracts and review invoices, work orders and service reports for accuracy and budget compliance.
• Maintain accurate facility records, asset registers, maintenance documentation, licences and certifications.
• Prepare regular reports on facility operations, vendor performance, budgets, energy consumption, compliance and projects.
• Support cost-saving, energy efficiency, sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate facility emergencies and work closely with Operations, landlords, contractors and internal stakeholders to minimise business disruption.
• Supervise and provide day-to-day guidance to the Facilities Team.
