Job summary

GENKI SUSHI SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a capable Training & Development Specialist to design annual and quarterly training plans aligned with operations. You will craft modules, SOP-based materials, role plays, and assessments for frontline staff, supervisors and managers.

You will facilitate programs covering service excellence, customer experience, product knowledge, complaint handling and SOP compliance, while supporting leadership development and the Career Development Ladder framework.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, F&B Management, Human Resource, Learning & Development, or related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in F&B operations or training & development.
• Experience in conducting training, developing training materials, and assessing employee competency.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
• Good understanding of F&B operations, service standards, and SOP implementation.
• Able to work closely with outlet teams and operations stakeholders.
• Analytical, organized, hands-on, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• ACTA, ACLP, or equivalent trainer certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual and quarterly training plans based on operational needs.
• Design and develop structured training modules, workshops, SOP-based materials, role plays, case studies, and assessment tools.
• Facilitate training programs for frontline staff, supervisors, and assistant managers.
• Deliver training in areas such as service excellence, customer experience, product knowledge, complaint handling, SOP compliance, and leadership fundamentals.
• Conduct refresher and remedial training based on service audits and performance gaps.
• Act as competency assessor for confirmation, external management hires and promotion readiness and provide structured feedback and development action plans
• Support the implementation of the Career Development Ladder framework.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly training reports for management review and meeting.
• Recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training impact and operational performance.
