Job summary

ECMS EXPRESS (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking an organized Export Operations Supervisor in Singapore to plan and oversee day-to-day activities for Export Operations Specialists.

You will manage capacity bookings, pickups, and shipment planning, while implementing SOPs for parcel handling and cargo movements. The role requires strong communication, the ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in MS Office. You will coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth exports and incident

Qualifications

• Minimum O-Level qualification; Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Forklift certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, splits and plans day-to-day work of Export Operations Specialists
• Supervises Transactional Operations in the forwarding area (capacity booking, pickup arrangement, planning and follow-up of shipment in the forwarding area and during the transport process)
• Arranges pickup, finalizes booking and performs booking optimization.
• Implement SOPs for handling small parcel R1 and cargo R2
• Ensures handling of required Export documents according to regulations and internal procedures
• Follows-up shipment status in the Export area and during transport; identifies incidents and ensures resolution of incidents.
• Supports Customer Service in the incident and exception management resolution.
• Creates, builds and maintains excellent relationships with key suppliers.
• Continuously monitors supplier performance and develops improvement plan when required.
• Identified training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.
• Creates, builds and maintains relationships with other internal functions and acts as subject matter expert for ad hoc operational questions with regards to accounts which are being serviced
• Ensures that proper implementation of customers' requirements have been conducted before sales is starting regular business service.
• Filing and document according to governance regulation.
• Conduct bi-weekly housekeeping for warehouse.
