Our Client, is Singapore-based FMCG food manufacturer specializing in dairy ingredients and customized dairy blends, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position ofExport Logistics Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, coach, and motivate the Export Shipping team to achieve operational excellence and deliver high-quality customer service.
- Set, monitor, and review departmental KPIs together with the Import Shipping Manager to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and maintain accurate shipping documentation and records.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers by providing professional logistics support and tailored shipping solutions.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and shipment issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Oversee daily export shipping operations, ensuring smooth coordination of freight forwarding activities.
- Manage the preparation and verification of export shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and Letter of Credit (L/C) documents.
- Ensure customs declarations and export documentation comply with Singapore and international trade regulations.
- Coordinate with government authorities, inspection agencies, and internal quality teams to facilitate shipment inspections and regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate competitive freight rates and shipping terms with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
- Manage relationships with transport providers, hauliers, warehouses, and other business vendors to ensure efficient shipment execution.
- Review and verify logistics-related invoices, including warehousing, loading, transportation, and packing charges.
- Plan, monitor, and coordinate shipment schedules to ensure timely delivery and operational efficiency.
- Prepare sales contracts, shipment forecasts, operational reports, and management reports.
- Analyse shipping performance and identify opportunities to improve processes, cost efficiency, and service quality.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Minimum 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
