Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a senior officer to lead the export shipping team and oversee daily operations from Tuas. You will manage export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading and L/Cs, while ensuring compliance with Singapore and international regulations.

You will coordinate shipping planning with customers and vendors, negotiate freight rates, and monitor KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience in export documentation and L/C management.
• Strong knowledge of customs compliance and import/export rules.
• Experience leading an export shipping team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customs declarations and export activities comply with Singapore and international regulations.
• Manage forwarding, shipment planning and coordination with customers, vendors and statutory authorities.
• Negotiate freight rates and manage relationships with shipping lines, forwarders and transport vendors.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and disputes.
• Monitor shipping KPIs, costs and operational performance.
• Support ISO9001 compliance, reporting and continuous process improvements.
• Train and mentor the export shipping team.

Salary: Up to $7,000 Basic + $50 Transport Allowance + Variable Bonus

Location: Tuas

Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:45am-5:30pm

Working Days: 5 Days

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade or related field.

• 7-10 years of shipping/logistics experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

• Strong experience in export documentation, Letter of Credit (L/C) and customs compliance.

• Good knowledge of import/export operations and regulations.

• ISO9001 knowledge is an advantage.
