Job summary

ECU-Worldwide (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a logistics coordinator to serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, manage shipments, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will prepare import/export documentation, coordinate carrier operations, support invoicing, and develop tailored transport solutions to meet client needs, working closely with internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline.
  • Knowledge of ocean freight operations, shipping processes, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with shipping documentation and carrier operations.
  • Experience with Dangerous Goods documentation is an advantage.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking ability.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with long hours.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, issues, and feedback with timely, professional responses.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and within required timelines.
  • Prepare, process, and verify import and export documentation, including LC and Dangerous Goods docs.
  • Coordinate container consolidations to optimize space and cost.
  • Source shipment space based on customer requirements and operations.
  • Liaise between customers, internal network offices, carriers, warehouses, and vendors.
  • Handle shipping-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues to ensure smooth cargo delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage invoicing, receipts, and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Develop customized logistics solutions tailored to customers’ needs.
  • Drive stronger customer engagement and upselling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, issues, and feedback, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and within required timelines.
  • Prepare, process, and verify import and export documentation, including Letters of Credit (LC) and Dangerous Goods documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate and plan container consolidations to optimize space utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Source shipment space based on customer requirements and operational needs.
  • Act as the liaison between customers, internal network offices, carriers, transporters, warehouses, and third-party vendors.
  • Handle shipping-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues, discrepancies, and escalated complaints to ensure smooth and successful cargo delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to optimize processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage invoicing, receipts, and follow up on outstanding payments and collections.
  • Develop customized logistics and transport solutions tailored to customers’ needs.
  • Drive stronger customer engagement, retention, and upselling opportunities with existing customers.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • Good knowledge of ocean freight operations, shipping processes, and industry regulations.
  • Familiarity with shipping documentation and carrier operations.
  • Knowledge and experience in handling Dangerous Goods documentation is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Able to work independently, commit to long working hours when required, and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
