Job summary

NYP Nanyang Polytechnic is seeking an experienced designer-educator with a strong background in Interior and Spatial Design to teach the Diploma in Experience Design, mentor students and lead industry collaborations.

You will shape the curriculum, develop learning resources, guide projects across spaces, products and digital experiences, and stay current with sustainability, smart environments and XR-enabled design.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching, mentoring and curriculum development.
• Strong portfolio of spatial, environmental or experiential design projects.
• End-to-end design process experience: research, concept development, spatial planning, development, prototyping and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Teach lessons and develop curriculum, learning resources and assessments in experience design.
• Mentor students through industry projects, exhibitions and collaborations.
• Lead or support industry collaborations, consultancy projects and applied research in experience design.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design / Spatial Design / Architecture
