Job summary

NYP International in Singapore seeks an experienced designer-educator to lead and evolve the Diploma in Experience Design. You will blend interior and spatial design to teach human-centred, placemaking and tech-enabled experiences across spaces, products and services.

You will mentor students, lead industry collaborations and help shape the curriculum to reflect sustainability, immersive experiences and Generative AI-enabled design exploration.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Interior Design, Spatial Design, Architecture or related discipline; at least 5 years industry experience preferred.
• Strong portfolio showcasing spatial, environmental or experiential design projects.
• End-to-end design experience: research, concept, planning, development, prototyping and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lessons and develop curriculum, learning resources and assessments in experience design.
• Teach across products, spaces, services and interactions with a human-centred approach.
• Provide mentorship and supervise students on industry projects and collaborations.
• Lead or support industry partnerships, consultancy projects and applied research in experience design.
• Develop, evaluate and update curriculum to align with industry trends, sustainability and emerging tech.
• Support CET programmes and student recruitment, outreach and school initiatives.
