Job summary

Nanyang Polytechnic is seeking an experienced designer-educator to shape the Diploma in Experience Design. You will teach, mentor and develop curriculum, bringing an Industrial and Product Design lens to student projects and collaborations.

You will lead industry partnerships, oversee projects and guide students in human-centred design, prototyping and emerging technologies, ensuring cohesive experiences across products, services and spaces.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Industrial Design or Product Design with 5+ years industry experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating product innovation and human-centred design.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring or leading design teams is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct lessons and develop curriculum in experience design and related areas.
• Mentor students through industry projects and multidisciplinary collaborations.
• Lead industry collaborations and applied research in design.
• Keep curriculum current with AI-assisted ideation and sustainable design.
• Build strategic industry partnerships for internships, consultancy and CET initiatives.
• Support course management, student recruitment and outreach activities.
