Job summary

LOGISTEED SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Air Export Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage documentation, and coordinate with airlines and forwarders. You will lead a small team, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive efficiency in cargo movement.

The role requires a diploma in logistics, at least 3 years in air freight, and strong MS Office skills. Working hours are standard weekdays with occasional Saturday mornings.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of air freight forwarding experience.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily air export operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipment handling.
• Prepare, review, and manage export documentation (airway bills, invoices, packing lists, permits, certificates of origin).
• Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, customs, contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth cargo movement.
• Coordinate with ground handling agents to optimize cargo flow and minimize delays.
• Monitor shipment schedules, track cargo status, and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.
• Adhere to RCA procedures and conduct audits to maintain certification standards.
• Support Export Manager in improving operational strategies and efficiency.
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff on export procedures and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports on export activities.
• Assist in customer service with inquiries and shipment updates.

Job description

This position shall report to the Air Cargo Manager and perform roles & responsibilities such as but not limited to below:

• Supervise and coordinate daily air export operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipment handling.

• Prepare, review, and manage export documentation (e.g., airway bills, invoices, packing lists, permits, certificates of origin).

• Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, customs, contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth cargo movement.

• Ensure truck dock slot allocation and coordinate with ground handling agents and contractors to optimize cargo flow and minimize delays.

• Monitor shipment schedules, track cargo status, and resolve operational issues promptly.

• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.

• As an RCA-certified agent, ensure all procedures are strictly followed and conduct regular audits to maintain certification standards.

• Support the Export Manager in developing operational strategies and improving efficiency.

• Provide guidance and training to junior staff on export procedures and documentation.

• Maintain accurate records and generate reports on export activities and performance metrics.

• Assist in customer service by addressing inquiries and providing shipment updates.

• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Working Hours:

Mon to Fri 8:30am to 5:30pm & Alternate Saturdays 8:30am to 12:30pm

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma holder in Logistics related field

• At least 3 years of air freight forwarding related work experience.

• Possess leadership skills to mentor a team.

• Good working knowledge for MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
