• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in MICE/event sales.
• Demonstrated success in MICE/event sales with ability to cultivate targeted prospect databases.
• Familiarity with government tender and procurement processes advantageous.
• Strong presentation skills and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an international MICE and local corporate database for lead generation, pipeline tracking, and follow-up activities.
• Assist in sales calls and support development of MICE proposals for Sentosa venues, products, and packages.
• Participate in site inspections of Sentosa properties to identify leads and support conversions.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders for event planning and administration.
• Support coordination with Marketing on sales outreach campaigns to stimulate demand.
• Acquire new business to build a pipeline of events in targeted markets and industries.
• Identify and participate in relevant trade events and platforms for promotion.
• Maintain active communication with MICE organisers and corporate clients.
• Prepare and monitor sales reports and performance dashboards.

[What the role is]

The role involves proactively seeking and securing MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) business opportunities for Sentosa and its affiliated island partners, both within Singapore and internationally. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting and exceeding performance targets established by management. This position requires an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, consistently meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional customer service.

[What you will be working on]

• Develop and maintain an International MICE and Local Corporate Database to support lead generation, pipeline tracking, and follow-up activities.
• Assist in conducting sales calls and support the development and presentation of MICE proposals for Sentosa venues, products, and packages to potential clients.
• Participate in site inspections of Sentosa properties to identify potential MICE leads and support conversion efforts.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to assist in the planning and administration of events on Sentosa, contributing to seamless execution of all planned activities.
• Support the coordination with the Marketing team on sales outreach campaigns aimed at stimulating demand and addressing market requirements.
• Assist in acquiring new business to help build a pipeline of events within targeted markets and industries.
• Identify and participate in relevant trade events and platforms to support business promotion efforts.
• Foster and maintain active communication and positive relationships with MICE organisers and corporate clients.
• Assist in the preparation and periodic monitoring of sales reports and performance dashboards as required.
• Undertake any other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

[What we are looking for]

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 – 2 years' experience in MICE/event sales
• Demonstrated success in MICE/event sales with a proven ability to cultivate and engage targeted prospect databases. Preferably able to contribute with personal contacts and database resources.
• Familiarity with government tender and procurement processes would be advantageous.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills, Business Acumen and the ability to deliver compelling presentations
• Proficient in leveraging data for performance analytics and dashboards
• Capable of collaborating effectively within a team and working autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Holding a valid Class 3/3A driving license would be beneficial.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and a second language.
• Willing and able to undertake domestic and international travel as required.
