Job summary

A leading staffing agency in Singapore is seeking an Accounting Clerk for a contract role. The successful candidate will execute financial operations, process accounting transactions, and handle customer inquiries. Qualifications include a minimum of ITE NITEC in Accounting and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with knowledge of SAP as an advantage. The position offers a monthly salary range of $2800 - $3300 and a working schedule of Monday to Friday from 8am to 5:30pm. Interested candidates should apply via email.

Responsibilities

  • Execute financial and accounting operations by ensuring transactions are processed promptly and accurately.
  • Process AP, AR transactions in the accounting system promptly and accurately.
  • Monitor outstanding AR and manage debt recovery process.
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statement and financial reports.
  • Verify expenditure bills and financial records for compliance.
  • Conduct briefing/training on finance policies and procedures.
  • Safekeeping financial documents and safeguarding financial information.
  • Handle customer's queries on financial transactions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute financial and accounting operations by ensuring transactions are processed promptly and accurately in accordance to the Service Level Agreements with the customers. Ensure accurate accounting and updating for all transactions.
  • Process AP, AR transactions in the accounting system promptly and accurately.
  • Monitor outstanding AR and manage debt recovery process.
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statement, financial and management reports for review by the Supervisor/ Officer in Charge.
  • Verify expenditure bills, financial records and reports for compliance to current procedures, guidelines and accounting practice.
  • Conduct briefing / training to finance appointment policies, procedures and systems.
  • Safekeeping financial documents & safeguard financial information of the customers
  • Handle customer's queries on the financial transactions & postings
