Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in engineering is preferred.
• Good knowledge of related industries.
• Able to lead a team and motivate co-workers.
• Computer literate and able to use standard software.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all operations of estimating and proposals to the highest standard.
• Offer quotations to customer inquiries; ensure requirements are met and proposals are compliant.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather information and resources.
• Ensure timely submission of proposals and tenders within deadlines.
• Prepare tender costing, review costs and pricing strategies for profit margins.
• Work closely with sales to secure contracts and follow up tenders diligently.
• Prepare execution budget after order is secured.
• Liaise with customers on additional work and justify claims.
• Liaise with customers and subcontractors; maintain good relationships.
• Perform any other associated tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Responsibility and Authority

• To carry out all operation of estimating and proposal department and performs to the highest standard

• To offer quotations to customer inquiry, ensure that all customer requirements are met, proposals are accurate and competitive, clear and compliant with relevant standards, rules and regulations.

• To coordinate with internal departments (Engineering, Finance, Project etc). to gather necessary information and resources

• Ensure timely submission of proposals and tenders within the prescribed deadlines

• To prepare tender costing, review costs and pricing strategies to ensure that proposals are cost-effective while maintaining profit margins.

• To working closely with the sales team, assist in secure contracts, and to follow up all tender closely and diligently

• To prepare execution budget after order secure.

• Liaise with customer pertaining to additional work carry out and additional claims are justified

• Liaise with customer and subcontractor and maintain good relationship

• Any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

Education, Qualification, Special Training & Knowledge & Skill

• Preferably Degree / Diploma in Engineering

• Have good knowledge in related industries

• Resourceful and able to lead and motivate a team of co-workers

• Preferably computer literate

• Process good communication skill and pleasant personality

• Able to work under pressure and tight submission schedule.
