Job summary

WS ENGINEERING & FABRICATION PTE. LTD. is seeking a cost estimator for the E-House line to prepare cost estimates, proposals, and lead clarifications with customers.

You will review RFQs, define scope, obtain vendor quotes, and coordinate with Engineering, Projects, QA/QC, and Procurement to validate solutions and costs; attend pre-bid and bid reviews; ensure clean handover to Projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Project/Primavera P6, AutoCAD/Navisworks viewer.
• Minimum 3 years direct experience with E-House, Modular Substations, or Packaged Electrical Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimations based on engineering inputs and vendor quotes for E House line of business.
• Review RFQs, ITBs, specifications, layouts, and data sheets for E-House scopes.
• Prepare technical and commercial queries/clarifications to clients.
• Define scope of supply, battery limits, and exclusions in line with Wasco standards.
• Prepare cost estimates for E-House structure, architecture, HVAC, fire & gas, cables, installation, and testing.
• Obtain and evaluate quotes from vendors/subcontractors for electrical HVAC, F&G etc.
• Prepare full technical-commercial proposals including compliance statements, deviations, data sheets, project schedule, man-hour estimates, and execution methodology.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, QA/QC, and Procurement to validate technical solutions and costs.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and technical clarification meetings.
• Identify risks during bidding and propose mitigation.
• Conduct internal bid reviews with management before submission.
• Provide clean handover of awarded jobs to Project Management with budget, scope, and key risks.
