Job summary

APAX SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a project engineer to design and deliver efficient engineering solutions across mechanical and electrical disciplines.

You will prepare detailed technical proposals, review client specs, and coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to move projects forward. You will monitor timelines, support testing and commissioning, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes to maintain quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform process design tasks to develop efficient engineering solutions.
• Prepare detailed technical proposals, engineering documents, and project submissions to support project approval and execution.
• Review client specifications, P&ID, engineering drawings, and technical requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate project progress.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure completion of works according to schedule.
• Assist with material coordination, conduct site inspections, and support testing and commissioning activities to ensure quality standards.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes during project execution to maintain operational efficiency.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by the reporting manager to support project and team objectives.

Required competencies and certifications

• Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills demonstrated through managing engineering projects.
• Proactive and analytical approach to resolving site issues effectively.
• Proficiency in oral and written English.
• Mandarin speaking skills to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
