Job summary

The Singapore Public Service is seeking a Facilities/Building Management professional to support estate renewal and enhancement projects in Sentosa Cove, collaborating with owners, consultants, contractors and partners across the full project lifecycle.

You will review technical documentation, conduct site inspections, and contribute to planning studies, design studies, and the development of presentations and project materials. 2 years of related experience and a degree/diploma are required.

Qualifications

• University Degree or Diploma in Building or Facilities Management with 2 years working experience
• Understanding of facility management principles, best practices, and industry standards
• Familiarity with building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations
• Ability to plan, organize, and execute facility-related projects efficiently
• Experience in coordinating and managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Good communication & Interpersonal skills
• Class 3 driving licence preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Work with internal and external stakeholders, including property owners, consultants, contractors and partners, to support ongoing projects and estate initiatives.
• Assist in the review of architectural drawings, plans and technical documentation for compliance with project requirements, specifications, relevant regulations, and Sentosa Cove's Design Guidelines and Planning Parameters.
• Support the planning and development of estate renewal and rejuvenation projects, including the preparation of project briefs, technical requirements, implementation plans and project strategies, with exposure to the full project lifecycle from initial concept and planning through implementation to project completion and handover.
• Conduct site inspections and assist with site coordination, documentation and follow-up of works and project issues.
• Undertake research, benchmarking and design studies to support estate enhancement, sustainability, placemaking and other improvement initiatives.
• Assist in developing concepts, presentations, plans and other visual or technical materials to communicate project proposals and recommendations.
• Take on selected projects or workstreams, where appropriate.
