Job summary

IRENE NURSING HOME PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated care assistant to support nursing staff in daily resident care tasks.

You will perform nursing treatments under supervision, assist doctors and allied health staff, conduct rounds, help with meals, hygiene, mobility and group activities, and report any abnormalities to the RN in charge.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing treatments and procedures, including administration of medications, dressing, and nasogastric feeding under supervision.
• Assist Doctor, Podiatrist, Speech Therapist, Dietician and SRNs during treatment and examination of residents.
• Conduct rounds to ensure that residents are well and safe; be alert for high-risk individuals.
• Assist residents with their individualised care programmes; perform oral hygiene, tube feeding, eye care, prosthetic aid, hearing aids.
• Facilitate residents in group exercises.
• Assist residents in toileting, meals, change diapers/clothes.
• Reports any abnormalities detected to the RN incharge e.g. skin condition or infection/sores.

Job description
