Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform counter duties: patient registration, appointments, referrals, and answering phone enquiries.
• Provide assistance to doctors and patients in the clinic and consultation room, including chaperone during consultations.
• Conduct measurements for medical checkups (height, weight, vision) and prepare instruments for procedures.
• Assist doctors during procedures and any minor procedures; administer medicines or treatments as prescribed; perform venipuncture.

Job description

• To perform counter duties like patient registration, taking appointments, referrals, answering phone call enquires. To provide assistance to doctors and patients in the clinic and consultation room. (e.g. Chaperone during consultation). To conduct parameter for medical checkup, e.g. measurement of height, weight, vision check.
• To perform clinical care of patients - e.g. blood pressure measurement, vaccination, cleaning and dressing of wound. To prepare instruments for procedure (if any) and clean procedure room. To assist doctor during procedures and any minor procedures. To administer medicines, treatments, injection as prescribed. To persom spirometry test, electro cardiogram and stress electro cardiogram. Typing and preparing medical report. To perform other nursing procedures as required. To perform direct patient care including but not limited to taking vitals, physical assessment and laboratory work. To perfom venipuncture.
• Maintain high standards and personal hygiene. Neatly groomed at all times.
