Job summary

GovTech, Singapore's lead agency for Smart Nation initiatives, is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a high-availability, full-stack team delivering digital services for the public sector.

You will define vision, drive roadmaps with stakeholders, and shape enterprise architecture across 30+ systems, while mentoring engineers and promoting engineering excellence in a public-good context.

Qualifications

• Experience with large, high-availability software systems.
• Strong leadership and soft skills beyond just technical ability.
• 2+ years coaching developers and growing teams.
• Passion for engineering excellence and public interest.

Responsibilities

• Define your team's engineering vision, strategy, and directions aligned with GovTech goals.
• Partner with stakeholders to prioritise and manage roadmaps for incremental delivery.
• Create long-term technical plans and roadmaps for the assigned team and interfaces with other teams.
• Mentor engineers, provide feedback, and guide professional growth.
• Drive enterprise architecture across portfolios and enforce engineering standards.
