Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, or related technical field.
• 5+ years' experience in customer-facing technical roles tied to sales growth.
• Proven track record of working with sales to identify opportunities and drive revenue.
• In-depth knowledge of materials manufacturing processes; direct PVD/CVD experience preferred.
• Semiconductor industry exposure preferred; strong metallurgy background.
• Outgoing, proactive with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel 50–75% and work cross-functionally across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with customers and/or collaborates with Product Specialists/Managers and other development teams to understand customer needs and develop product/process solutions and CTQ attributes.
• Develops and manages relationships with strategic contacts among key customers and industry contacts; significant travel for face-to-face customer support required.
• Participates in market and product/service strategy and roadmap creation and support strategy execution.
• Provides engineering support to identify and resolve design issues or opportunities for customers.
• Represents the company at customer sites and trade shows, where applicable.
• Communicates customer requirements to engineering and production teams.
• Interfaces with customers and internal quality teams on technical quality issues and monitors corrections through to completion.
• Other duties as assigned.
