Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking an engineering support professional to assist semiconductor process operations. You will help ensure productive manufacturing by monitoring cycle times, throughput, and prototype success, and contribute to shipment planning.

You will support automated assembly tools, collaborate with engineering teams on capacity modeling, and drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and productivity. All activities must be performed safely and in line with GF's EH&S programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for semiconductor process operations.
• Oversee operations to meet targets: cycle time, throughput, prototype success and shipment plan.
• Support automated assembly tools to support manufacturing processes.
• Drive manufacturing efficiencies, quality and productivity improvements.
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Job Descriptions:

• Provide engineering support for semiconductor process operations Typically performs one or more of the following as directed and/or independently:
• Provides oversite and guidance of operational activities in ensuring productive use of manufacturing, process and equipment to meet the daily targets and operational goals - Cycle time, Throughput, Prototype success and Fabout - Shipment Plan
• Supports automated assembly tools to support manufacturing processes
• Supports engineering and industrial engineering for accurate and up-to-date assumptions, constraints and UPH are used in the tools capacity modeling
• Drives manufacturing efficiencies, quality and productivity improvements
