Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a hands-on leader to guide and train a team of Waferfab Operators and Technicians in daily production to meet targets. You will optimize WIP, allocate manpower for peak productivity and plan training for shift deployment flexibility.

You will engage specialists to capture feedback, address human error risks, present daily production indices in module meetings, and work with Engineering to resolve line issues while ensuring safety, discipline and data integrity.

• Identify human error risks and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Present daily production indices in module meetings and highlight priorities for Engineering.
• Resolve line-related maintenance issues and liaise with Engineering to implement solutions.
• Ensure safety, discipline, housekeeping and data integrity in the work area.

Job Descriptions:

• Lead, manage and train a team of Waferfab Operators and Technician in the day-to-day operations to meet daily production targets.
• Optimize WIP management to maximize throughput and linearity.
• Allocate and deploy manpower effectively for optimum productivity.
• Plan out manpower training to increase shift deployment flexibility.
• Engage specialists at regularly to feedback on performance as well as understand difficulties faced & identify potential areas for improvement.
• Identify potential human error issues in the fab and work on corrective/preventive actions.
• Present daily production indices in module meetings and highlight key priorities for the Engineering team to focus.
• Resolve and handle line-related, preventive maintenance issues and understand all equipment capacity/constraint issues so as to be able to identify, implement temporary solutions and work with Engineering team to resolve them.
• Ensure safety, discipline and housekeeping compliance in work area by all personnel.
• Ensure proper documentation and data-integrity.
