Job summary

SOQ INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY PTE. LTD. is seeking a training professional to prepare and deliver sessions in line with approved curricula and outcomes.

You will review student profiles and learning needs to tailor delivery, and prepare materials and activities ahead of each session. You will deliver engaging classroom, practical, and online training, assess learners in line with plans, and ensure assessments are fair and compliant with awarding bodies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver training sessions according to approved curriculum and learning outcomes.
• Review students' profiles, learning needs, and prior knowledge to tailor delivery and maximise learning effectiveness.
• Prepare teaching materials, classroom resources, practical equipment, and learning activities prior to each session.
• Deliver engaging classroom, practical, and online training using appropriate teaching methodologies.
• Assess learners' knowledge, skills, and competencies in accordance with assessment plans and marking criteria.
• Ensure assessments are conducted fairly, consistently, and in compliance with awarding body requirements.
• Mark and provide constructive feedback on assessments within the stipulated timelines.
• Maintain accurate student attendance, assessment records, and training documentation.
• Monitor student progress and provide academic guidance to help learners achieve required competency standards.
• Identify students requiring additional assistance and provide coaching or intervention where necessary.
• Ensure a safe, professional, and inclusive learning environment at all times.
• Maintain classrooms, training equipment, and learning resources in good condition and report issues promptly.
• Participate in CPD activities and trainer meetings.
• Comply with EduTrust requirements, SkillsFuture Singapore regulations, and awarding body standards.
