Job summary

SUGI ELECTRONICS PTE LTD is seeking a logistics/forwarding professional in Singapore to manage daily operations and ensure timely customer service. The role involves reviewing submissions, documentary checks, and processing import/export shipments.

You will coordinate with warehouse staff, sales teams, shipping agents, and overseas counterparts to cover all forwarding activities. Additional duties include admin tasks and stock takes.

Responsibilities

• Daily operations with prompt & decisive customer service.
• Pre-processing review of customer submissions and documentary checks (shipping documents, Back-to-Back/Front-to-back LC).
• Process import/export shipments documents and bill of lading where applicable.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff, sales staff, shipping agents, overseas counterparts and vendors.
• Work in a small team and cover all forwarding process steps.
• Negotiate with freight forwarders to ensure on-time shipment delivery.
• Perform basic admin duties such as billing, costings and payment follow-up.
• Conduct on/off-site inventory stock takes.
• Support strategic purchasing requests.
