Job summary

Databricks is seeking an entrepreneurial Startup Hunter Account Executive to drive new logos and expand existing accounts in Singapore/SEA. You will balance technical stakeholder discussions with business value framing, guiding deals through a structured sales process and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to close deals and accelerate value delivery.

You will report to the Sr. Manager, Emerging Enterprise & DNB, and leverage Databricks’ platform to demonstrate data and AI value

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Startup/ Emerging Enterprise Sales experience exceeding quotas.
• Experience in a consumption-based sales motion.
• Strong closing experience and evidence of exceeding sales quota.
• Ability to navigate a fast-growing organization.
• Sales experience within Cloud software, open source tech, or Data/AI space.
• Experience co-selling with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC and value/discovery selling.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess accounts and develop strategy to engage buying centers.
• Identify and close quick wins while managing longer sales cycles.
• Map whitespace opportunities across territory to maximize impact.
• Articulate product value to customers and partners.
• Forecast and track deals in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to close new business.
• Drive adoption of Databricks Intelligence Platform with customers.
• Co-create business cases with executives to gain alignment.
