Job summary

D-TECH SOLUTIONS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical / ELV Engineer to lead and coordinate electrical, ELV and system integration works from design development to testing, commissioning and handover.

You will develop and review electrical drawings, coordinate with clients and contractors, conduct site inspections and oversee installation, testing, commissioning and handover while ensuring compliance with local standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• 2 years above of relevant experience in electrical engineering, ELV, system integration, building services or related industries.
• Experience in residential, commercial or industrial projects.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, ELV systems, automation, controls and system integration.
• Experience with AutoCAD and relevant engineering/design software.
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, networking, BMS, AV, will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of testing, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• English proficiency required; Mandarin/Chinese preferred.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical, ELV, and system integration works from design development to testing, commissioning and handover.
• Develop and review electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, control wiring and system layouts.
• Coordinate ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, biometric systems, intrusion alarms, structured cabling, networking, public address, intercom, audiovisual and building management systems.
• Integrate multiple systems into a centralized monitoring and control platform.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, equipment selections, shop drawings and installation details.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers and specialist system integrators to ensure proper technical interfaces.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning and system optimisation.
• Identify technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions to ensure system reliability, functionality and maintainability.
• Prepare and review technical submissions, method statements, testing & commissioning documents, as-built drawings, O&M manuals and handover documents.
• Coordinate project schedules, technical interfaces, procurement and installation activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required quality.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting after installation, including system optimisation and client/user training.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance to engineers, technicians, subcontractors and site personnel.
• Ensure all works comply with Singapore regulations, applicable standards, safety requirements and project specifications.
• Support project managers in cost control, programme coordination, risk management and project delivery.
