Job summary

UES Holdings Pte. Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Electrical Design Engineer to lead in-house design works for Electrical/ELV systems, including MV/LV reticulation, load calculations, lighting simulation, and safety systems.

You will coordinate with consultants, BIM/drafting teams for 3D models and shop drawings, assist in material requisition, testing and commissioning, and contribute to tender preparation and cost tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of Electrical Design experience in building services/ELV/ lifts & escalators.
• Solid understanding of relevant codes of practice (Singapore or overseas).
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit for BIM coordination and drawing production.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Leading in-house engineering design works of Electrical / ELV System, including detailed design of MV / LV reticulation System, load calculation, voltage drop & fault level calculation, lighting lux simulation, lightning protection system, EVC System, access control system etc.


• Attend design coordinate meetings with main-con, consultants and other contractors.


• Coordinate with BIM / drafting personnel for the 3D model / drawings production for design drawing / shop drawings submission.


• Coordinate with BIM personnel for the Combined Services Drawings.


• Assist in preparing the material requisition for all Electrical / ELV equipment and materials.


• Assist site team in carrying out testing and commissioning, combined services testing for TOP/CSC,


• Coordinate with other trade of contractors such as Mechanical System, Process System, Structural etc to capture.


• Participate in liaison with Electrical / ELV suppliers for quotation, carry out equipment selection, technical and commercial evaluation.


• Analyse, manage and track project costs against budget.


• Assist in preparing material submittals for electrical system to the Consultant for approval.


• Participate in tender preparation for new projects.

Requirements

• Min bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.


• Min 5 years of Electrical Design working experience in building construction industry, preferable in handling Building Service Electrical / ELV / Lift & Escalator works.


• Good understanding of the relevant Code of Practice (Singapore or overseas).


• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.


• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

• BCA/SCDF/PUB authority certification is an advantage
