Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) is seeking a Project Engineer to manage ELV system projects from planning to completion in Singapore. You will collaborate with customers, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to meet timelines and quality standards, with hands-on testing and commissioning.

The role requires 3–5 years in project engineering, AutoCAD proficiency, and strong knowledge of LV cabling and network communications. Travel to site and occasional odd hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems and LV cabling.
• Experience writing design and testing documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify complex layout plans, wiring drawings, and installation details.
• Conduct site surveys to verify conditions and design feasibility.
• Update and manage project drawings with latest revisions.
• Generate design, construction and As-Built drawings.
• Draft Design Submission Documents for client approval.
• Write Method Statements and Risk Assessments for installs.
• Develop Testing & Commissioning Procedures (FAT/SAT/IST).
• Record test results and commissioning data into reports.
• Draft complete O&M Manuals to match formatting requirements.
• Assist PM in planning and coordinating with subcontractors.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Project Engineer to manage Extra Low Voltage (ELV) system projects from planning to completion. In this role, you will work closely with customers, consultant, end user, vendors, sub-contractors and internal teams to plan, organize, and execute project activities, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. You will be responsible for technical matters, coordination, attending site meetings, monitoring progress, and hands-on testing and commissioning. This position requires strong hand-on project management skills, technical knowledge, attention to detail, ability to maintain clear communication with all stakeholders to deliver successful, cost-effective, and high-quality ELV solutions.

Responsibility

• Develop, detailed, and modify complex layout plans, schematic diagrams, wiring drawings, and installation details for systems (CCTV, PLC, traffic light & Barrier, network backbone, radio system)
• Conduct site surveys to verify existing conditions and ensure design feasibility.
• Update and manage all project drawings, ensuring the latest revisions are distributed to the site team and stakeholders.
• Generate accurate design, construction and As-Built drawings
• Draft, compile, and review comprehensive Design Submission Documents for client approval, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
• Author detailed Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Develop and write Testing & Commissioning Procedures-including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and Integrated Systems Tests (IST).
• Record and compile all test results, inspection reports, and commissioning data into formal Test Reports for client submission.
• Take primary responsibility for drafting the complete O&M Manuals
• Ensure O&M manuals are clear, comprehensive, and adhere to formatting and content requirements.
• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
• Site supervision and co-ordination
• Conduction Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and Integrated Systems Tests (IST)
• May work at odd hours

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of project engineering experience, preferably on LTA or other large-scale public infrastructure projects.
• Essential Technical Skills: AutoCAD Proficiency, Technical Writing, Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of electrical systems, low-voltage cabling, network communications, and electronic hardware installation.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with LTA's standards, specifications, and submission processes.
• Experience working in live tunnel environments and understanding of related safety protocols (e.g., confined space, traffic management).
• Knowledge of Singapore Standards and statutory requirements for electrical installations.
